School Santa Teresa de Jesús ] from Oviedo share this Inclusive Practices Project “Pictografío mi Cole” with ARASAACpictograms.

The project has been carried out as an activity of the Integration Support Classroom (within the Guidance Department), by a student who presents SEN from the ESO stage. Alba Gómez Arévalois an example of overcoming and perseverance and also has a special sensitivity and empathy towards people, who, like her, have difficulties in their day-to-day life.

They tell us from the center that “we have been carrying out projects directed by her for years, such as inclusive patios, Support for the Elderly, etc. This signage project has been another success for her. “Everything arose in the sessions for the development of Social Skills in the Support Classroom and finally had the collaboration of many people from the Educational Community to start it up and mark the spaces”.

From ARASAAC, we have been greatly moved by this experience and we want to express our gratitude, recognition and total support for initiatives like this one.
